Our Journey
Salviwood was inspired by the incredible journey of our founder, Saul Rodas, whose parents fled El Salvador during the tumultuous 1980s Civil War. Their resilience and determination to build a better life have been a driving force behind our mission. Saul, a proud Salvadoran-American, saw the need for a platform that could elevate Salvadoran stories and provide opportunities for Central American creators to shine on the global stage.
